Chamber VetNet Connect (St. Louis, MO)  The mission of VetNet Connect is to support and help local Veterans in whatever way we can. To help with employment, housing, medical, and try to keep Veterans out of “at-risk” situations. This networking event is for individuals and businesses that wish to support our Veterans and active duty, whether through hiring, discounts, businesses owned by Veterans, or services directed to these individuals. The meetings are held the 3rd Friday of each month at the Creve Coeur American Legion Hall in Creve Coeur, 934 E. Rue De La Banque, St. Louis, MO 63141 starting promptly at 8:30am-10:00am. Sponsored by The Kaufman Fund.

 Columbia Vet Center Open House (Columbia, MO)  – This event is an open house to show Veterans what the Columbia Vet Center does and the services it provides. A tour will be given to those in attendance, and light refreshments will be served. It will be held between 10:00am-2:00pm at 2475 Broadway Bluffs, Suite 40 (Basement floor), Columbia, MO. Veteran Appreciation Day (Ozark, MO) –  This event is held on the fourth Tuesday of every month from 9:00am – 11:00am at the Ozark Senior Center – 727 N. 9th St, Ozark, MO. Morning Radio Talk Show “Veteran Talk” Segment with MVC’s Lindsey Ward –  Lindsey, a Veteran Services Officer, is a regular guest on this 30-minute segment, which is hosted by KXEO radio station in Mexico, MO (AM 1340),  beginning at 8:00am on the last Thursday of every month. Lindsey will discuss things that matter to Missouri Veterans and their families such as VA programs, benefits, resources, concerns within the Veteran community, and much more. Don’t miss it!
